You can find us in Alta Val Torre, in the heart of the
Julian Prealps Natural Park
and Unesco MAB reserve, at the foot of the Musi Mountains, about 40km from Udine.
We are an accessible and sustainable shelter for children and families, hikers e pilgrims, climbers and bicycle tourists, motorcyclists and campers–actually, we are Refuge for All! We welcome all gluttons who would like to sample our traditional Friulian dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, perhaps in front of a live music concert from our summer festival MUSIcanti. In addition, we at Rifugio Pian dei Ciclamini host several courses such as sport climbing, yoga, Forest Bathing and much more. Our Suggestions and Activities
A Refuge for Everyone
We are organized to handle groups of all sizes: school trips, sports retreats, college internships and more.
We collaborate with experienced Environmental Naturalist Guides and Mountain Guides specialized in the area to offer you the best experiences exploring the Natural Park of the Julian Pre-Alps. We have the best contacts to ensure you special visits for spelunking and food and wine tours, discovering the Valleys of Torre and Natisone.
We are equipped as a Family Hotel and organize activities for families and children.
The arrangement of our rooms – comfortable dormitories and private rooms – allows us to accommodate everyone. We are hosting the photographic exhibition by Luciano Mattighello and the illustration exhibition by Alessandro Montagnana. We also have a spacious room dedicated to classes and meetings, and we host various types of courses that can be conducted indoors or outdoors.
